Our Story of becoming ‘Shoktikonna’ (PowerWomen)

In November 2022, four Shoktikonnas- Fariha Rahman Nameerah, Mohsina Taz, Subah Fairooz Maisha, and Sadia Surovi were invited to attend the 3rd WePOWER Regional Conference at Bangkok, Thailan.

Inspiring future female leaders of Bangladesh's energy sector

The unique 3-month hybrid Shoktikonna or ‘Power Women’ leadership program, provided her with the opportunity to meet fellow female energy sector professionals & mentors.

A gender-equal future for STEM in Bangladesh

Mohsina is a 22-year-old electronics graduate. She was one of the youngest participants selected for the (World Bank-supported) Shoktikonna Leadership program, a training for women in the energy sector.
